ABOUT ME

Like a lot of people, I didn’t grow up dreaming of working in Financial Services, I really wanted to be a Barrister.  Somehow, I ended up working in a Bank at age 18 and I’ve worked in the industry ever since.  I’ve undertaken various roles and qualified as a Financial Adviser in 1999.

I spent 15 years providing both restricted and independent advice before taking a career break in 2014.  As many of you reading this will know, the job of a Financial Adviser is extremely demanding and the break allowed me to spend some quality time with my son, Matthew.

I returned to work in 2016 as a Paraplanner for a St. James’s Place Practice, the more structured office hours allowed me to be at home more whilst Matthew was still in Primary School.  I then went back to a advising role for the same Practice in 2021.

I hold the Diploma for Financial Advisers, Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice and  I’m currently working towards Chartered status.

My spare time is spent with my family and friends. I enjoy a good night out and love my holidays abroad.  I’m a bit of a sun worshipper and Santorini is my favourite place.

I don’t have a lot of time to myself but when I do, I enjoy reading a good book or cooking a nice meal.
